BATHSHEBA SURF COTTAGES are a favorite of returning surfers from all over the world. Small cottages located away from the tourist scene, above the waves in Bathsheba, the home of Soup Bowls. The cottages here are certainly budget but functional. They are privately owned and offer an opportunity for the hard-core surfer to catch the early morning glass with no driving hassles. Keep in mind that some may not consider these accommodations to be wife/girlfriend/family friendly unless everyone surfs!

The small (14 x 22 miles) island country of Barbados has three shorelines that receive surfable waves. North swells pump during the winter months and hit the north side of the island, while the summer brings fun surf to the south coast. The most popular break is world class Soup Bowl on the east side, which is enjoyed year round.
