Southern Morocco has been attracting surfers to its shores since the 1970’s when the first early pioneers realised its true potential and wave magnetism.

Morocco offers amazing quality surf between September and April and smaller glassy conditions in the summer months of May to August. Excellent point breaks and beach break exist with powerful and fun surf to be found throughout the coastline. The beauty of Morocco is that all along the southern coastline you will find quality surfing conditions not found anywhere else in the world. Agadir region offer a decent sized surf experience and with water temperatures never dropping too low offers nearly an all year round board shorts experience although in the cooler months of Dec to Feb you may wish to have a 3/2 wetsuit in the water.

The southern peninsula is amazingly consistent and the surf found to the far south of the region is relatively unexplored and offers some amazing surfing conditions in a beautiful back drop of culture and dessert. The Moroccan surfing experience provides quality surfing that is fun and enjoyable and is best suited for those surfers who want a warm year long destination with warm water temperatures and wonderful surf for all standards.

Swells are generated out of the Atlantic Ocean arriving along the Moroccan coastline with such regularity you could set your watch by them and the regions benefits even further due to its geographical make up of points and long sandy beaches.
