Single room available for a surfer to come and stay. Mt Maunganui is a friendly beach break about 15 mins drive from my house. Tauranga and Mt Maunganui are popular tourist destinations, this is a great city with surf beach, flat water and whitewater for kayaking, loads of bush and hills to explore by foot or mtb, it's got restaurants, bars, nightlife, yup it's pretty much got the lot. On here looking to 'pay it forward' and help out a fellow surfer, coz that's what it's all about, eh guys. My house is small and modest but pretty funky. Mt Maunganui is renowned as a beginners spot. Leave your gun at home(!) - bring the mal or the fish. 1 - 3ft is usual. Flat is also quite common, lucky there\'s plenty of other stuff to do here.... ;o)

Airlines: Most international flights come into Auckland or Rotorua, you'd need to link to Mt Maunganui, or you can drive - about 3 hours from Auckland, or 1 1/2 hours from Rotorua.
