We had a great week with the Atlantic Riders crew. Our only regret is that we decided to stay at the hotel, which left us out of some of the social activities. When we go back we'll stay in the apartments or the camp - it's a really nice setup. They rotate between three beaches ranging from sheltered to exposed based on conditions - also a really nice setup. Highly recommended.

I didn't stay here myself, but I went surfing with the guys who run it and they're super-nice. Rene is Dutch but has lived in Algarve for 7 years, and know the area and all the good spots. I'll be going back here, and then I'll stay with Atlantic Riders for sure.

Atlantic Riders is a great place to get started, or get a bit better at surfing. Great not-crowded beaches near the camp, good equipment if you don't want to bring you own stuff. Relaxed atmosphere, good food and usually good people, very international, visiting this place (I spend a week there for the third year, last month). The accommodations are pretty luxurious if you rent a studio, basic but comfortable if you stay in the camp or, well ehm, tents if you go on the safari. Something for every taste.

i just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you so much for putting me together with the guys at atlantic riders. my trip was absolutely fabulous. renee and his crew were the picture of hospitality, the accomadations were awesome and the attention to detail top notch. not to mention that i learned to surf!! renee and hamish were excellent, as enthusiastic and attentive of surf mentors as a girl could hope for. i would go back in a minute. thank you again my kindest regards, jenna
