An Unusual Surf Van

This is what I’m using to drive to North Devon from London, together with my girlfriend. It’s 4.5h - 5 hours on the road, 350 km, mostly motorways. The car has an engine smaller than my old motorbike but it’s supringsly comfortable, quiet, and fun to drive. The only draw-back is that it’s pretty hard to carry a surf board on the roof… But I’m happy to rent, for now.

    yep, it’s a convertible, but not leather seats. it’s a beauty though. I didn’t rent it - it’s my girlie-friends baby.

That’s my usual surf van…I can drive all Lisbon coast with a 9 foot longboard and a 5′11 shortboard on the roof, or I can put inside the car myself and my friend Catarina with our two surfboards (5′11 and 6′1) and no stress or sweat involved.

    that’s a perfect surf van…:p
